Fidget Spinners and Probability

We had a blast using our fidget spinners in Maths today. We used them for a Probability and Graphing activity. We had 3 fidget spinner charts each divided into 4 sections. The first chart had 4 equal parts the second and third chart had 4 parts divided up unequally. We discussed words like: likely, possible, certain, and equally. We worked in pairs and I was super proud of room 2 for doing such an amazing job.

We started by collecting data on our tally charts.

 Room 2 was amazed when the spinner stopped on the smallest piece.

Next partners graphed their results.

A couple friends finished results.
